Portfolio Review $2,750
Portfolio Reviews are not exclusively for people with investments. In many cases much of the time can be spent on planning aspects such as optimizing retirement plans, education funding, tax efficiency, budgeting, navigating short term debt issues, incorporating a home purchase into investment decisions, and frequently all of the above.
This is our main offering, a one-time financial plan – fill out the extensive questionnaire, look at your current situation, ask about your goals and any special needs, answer any questions that you have, address any outstanding issues, and give you those recommendations that are really going to make the biggest impact. In other words, the 80/20 version of financial planning. After undergoing a Portfolio Review most clients should be able to oversee their finances on their own for a couple of years before a follow-up might be needed.
- Full review by me of your current financial situation and investments prior to meeting
- 2-hour in person or video conference meeting
- 5-10 page post-meeting action plan with specific recommendations including asset allocation and investment choices where applicable
- Email/phone support as needed for six months after the meeting
Additional Services
Hourly Advice: $400 per hour
After the initial Portfolio Review were your circumstances to change, or you think changes need to be made due to market movements, or you had a quick question you wanted help with, or if you just wanted an annual check-up to confirm that everything is in order, time can be booked on an hourly basis. This could occur every 6, 12, 24, 48 months, it’s up to you. Hourly advice is billed at $400 an hour in 15-minute increments and is only available to clients after undergoing an initial Portfolio Review.
Business Evaluation/Business Opportunity $2,000 – $5,000
Analyze a business or investment opportunity you are thinking of making or buying outright. Or analyze your current business/livelihood for a lot less than McKinsey.
Let’s say you want to spend $100k, 200k, 500k+ on a business that you want to buy or start and want a 3rd party voice to run things by.
Or a place to turn if you think you might be getting scammed and want to run a financial product/opportunity by someone.

I have over 20 years of experience in how financial markets work …and sometimes fail. Despite the low-fee revolution currently occurring on Wall Street, adverse incentives, conflicts of interest, and high expenses still persist. I recognized a need for personalized, transparent, and unbiased advice for the average person’s financial planning and investment decisions. That’s why I’ve built a firm that doesn’t sell any products other than our advice, and makes sure you always know how much you are paying and what you are getting in return. I have made some atypical choices in starting Grand Central Financial Planning with the goal of providing clients a high level of service at a reasonable price.
