About
Meredith Murphy has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years, working in the insurance industry, hedge funds, endowments and small private companies. Meredith graduated in 1990 from Dartmouth College. She earned a Masters of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Bentley College in 1999 as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. In the early 90s Meredith worked for a small hedge fund, overseeing their operations as well as providing financial reporting. From 1996 to 2009, Meredith worked for Harvard Management Company, the endowment of Harvard University. Meredith provided accounting and profit and loss reporting for several portfolios, eventually gaining responsibility to become the Chief Operations Officer and Treasurer, with responsibility for financial reporting and operations for diverse asset classes and instruments, including derivatives, public and private securities. Most recently Meredith has been working for a small private firm, with responsibility for the finance group who provide back-office services to clients including Treasury management, bookkeeping and acting as a liaison with other professional services firms. These diverse experiences provide Meredith with a broad knowledge base from which she can service her clients.
