Pricing

By-the-Hour Only
We charge a flat fee of $240/hour, and are paid exclusively by our clients. We do not accept compensation from any third parties in the form of commissions or referral fees, nor do we “take over” your investments and charge a percentage for management. Hourly rates mean no sales pressure and no hidden agenda: we simply provide as-needed, objective financial advice, whether for one question or a comprehensive plan.

Flexible
Financial Answers was designed so our services are flexible and budget-friendly. Most plans are priced between $1,000-$3,000, although we have clients who have only needed 1 hour as well as those who have exceeded 15 hours. The fees are based on the actual time involved in meeting with you in person or over the phone, researching and analyzing your current situation, and providing specific recommendations and implementation assistance (if appropriate). The total fee for a financial plan will vary based on the specific needs and complexity of your situation. Working on an hourly basis means that clients pay only for the time an advisor works with or for them.

What about my situation?
We will always provide clients with an accurate estimate of the cost of our services before they begin working with us. A firm estimate of fees will be provided at the end of your “Get Acquainted” meeting, when your needs have been fully identified.

About

Sarah is the Founder and President of Financial Answers, LLC. A cum laude graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and dual majors, Sarah has been a practicing financial advisor for 22 years, earning her CFP designation in 2007. The readers of the North Central News have voted Sarah as the “Best Financial Advisor” in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

She knows that most financial help emphasizes the sale of investment or insurance products rather than objective advice, and that most financial advisors are not legally obligated to act in a client's best interest. Although some financial advisors are fiduciaries, they frequently impose income, net worth, or investable asset minimums, making their services inaccessible for most people.

Sarah believes that objective, fiduciary-caliber financial advice is something that everyone should have access to. "I am passionate about helping people make smart choices with their money and helping them get their financial house in order. No matter what happens in the market, the economy, or the world, people can still achieve their financial goals."

Sarah lives in Somers, Connecticut with her husband and two sons. She enjoys working on their 1795 farmhouse and learned very quickly that nothing is level or square.
